Ceremonial opening of the B175

On the 12th of December, the federal highway 175 between the industrial area Döbeln-Ost and the Autobahn 14 was opened to traffic in a ceremony.

After more than two years of construction, one of the most extensive expansion projects for federal roads in Saxony has been completed.

A+S was pleased to accept the invitation of the Saxon State Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport, Martin Dulig, who was personally responsible for the opening.

Our engineers have been working on this project for several years. From preliminary planning to implementation planning, we accompanied our client, the State Office for Road Construction and Transport (LASUV), through all project phases with our KorFin® software solution. As part of the project, the Döbeln A14 motorway feeder road was extended, industrial parks were better connected to the main road and some accident sites were eliminated.
