International User Group Meeting in Ukraine

The International User Group Meeting took place in Kiev, Ukraine on the 21st of May, 2019. The event was organized by A+S with the support of PTV Group. The UGM was attended by more than 60 experts in the field of traffic planning and modelling, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, municipal administrations and leading companies from the transportation sector. Numerous professors from Ukrainian universities were also guests of A+S.

The User Group Meeting was officially opened by the founder and managing director of A+S Consult GmbH, Dr Veit Appelt. In the plenary session, the presentations of Siegfried Rupprecht, Managing Director of Rupprecht Consult GmbH, and author of the SUMP guidelines as well as Sven Beller from PTV Group, the expert for traffic modelling and 3D visualization, attracted a lot of attention. Other presentations focused on the development of transport strategies in Kiev and Ukraine, ITS, transport modelling and the latest developments in PTV software. During the panel discussion, representatives of A+S Consult GmbH, Rupprecht Consulting GmbH and Dornier Consulting International GmbH exchanged views on the topic "Introduction of sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMP) in Ukraine."

In 2020, A+S will celebrate its 15th anniversary in the Ukraine and is already inviting everyone to the anniversary event.
