Beginning of construction for the main construction section of B 175 Choren – Doebeln

On the 14th of September, 2017, the beginning of construction for the main construction section 2 of the B 175 expansion between Choren and Doebeln to the west of the A 14 highway was celebrated with a ceremonial groundbreaking. Previously completed construction works included construction section 0 (land clearing, search for explosive ordinance and archaeological preliminary investigations) and construction section 1 (connection to Oberranschuetz). Representatives of the state government, the county, the city of Doebeln and the road administration gave speeches at the event.

A+S was involved in the preliminary planning and preliminary design as the general planner and as a traffic facilities planner during the approval planning, implementation planning, and preparation of the award of contract on behalf of the State Office for Road Construction and Transport, Zschopau Branch.
