Digital Rail Summer School 2023

This year, A+S took part in the Digital Rail Summer School 2023 in Jöhstadt, Erzgebirge. For the fifth time in a row, the Digital Rail Summer School opens its doors and offers a platform for students of all disciplines and universities who have a passion for IT systems in the rail sector, as well as employees of Deutsche Bahn and many others. In this context, the focus is on exploring and discussing the complexities and challenges of digitalization in rail operations.

An impressive group of experts, including specialists from the fields of IT, rail operations and approval, are on site. Their goal? To promote dialog, share knowledge and jointly develop innovative ideas and strategies for the future.

A highlight of the event was certainly the presentation by our colleague Jens Bartnitzek. He delved deeper into the world of "Digital planning in the context of BIM and virtual reality".
