International forum "European Technologies for Traffic Planning and Modeling"

On the 30th of October, the international forum "European Technologies for Traffic Planning and Modeling. Perspectives for Integration in the Ukraine" took place in Kyiv. The event was initiated by A+S, together with local partners and the Ukrainian association for traffic planning and modeling. Among the guests at the forum were leading experts and specialists in the industry, as well as representatives of Kyiv's administration. Ukrainian universities were also well represented and showed a large degree of interest in German technologies.

The topic spectrum extended from European experience in international projects to application examples for PTV software in post-Soviet states, up to political considerations regarding the introduction of new guidelines for traffic planning. Animated discussion took place between the individual speeches as well as around the edges of the event. At the conclusion of the forum, a press conference was held at which television and print journalists could pose specific questions to the organizers of the forum.

In the official memorandum it was decided to hold the forum annually and to develop it to the most important platform for the industry experts.
