Track construction 2023 in Berlin

We would like to look back on the exciting track construction seminar "Track Construction 2023 - Planning, Construction and Surveying" of the VDV Educational Association, Section 11 "Track Construction" under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing Jörg Zimmermann at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (BHT), which took place on 03 - 04.03.2023.

A highlight of the seminar was the joint presentation by Wahid Fazelly (IB&T Software GmbH) and Jens Bartnitzek (A+S Consult GmbH) on the topic of "Traffic system planning in BIM projects". The participants had the opportunity to discuss the latest developments and challenges in the field of traffic facility planning. In particular, the use of DB Station und Service's new traffic route planning was discussed intensively, with the differentiation from the use of DB_REF in other specialist areas such as tassing, LST and OLA of DB Netz AG also being addressed.

The presentation provided a valuable platform for the exchange of specialist knowledge and experience. The discussions were stimulating and showed the participants' interest in innovative approaches and solutions for traffic facility planning.
