VDI Conference "BIM in Infrastructure Construction"

Within the framework of the conference "BIM in infrastructure construction", various BIM-specific topics were discussed on 3 and 4 December 2019 in Düsseldorf.

How can the challenges of introducing and using BIM be mastered? What demands will construction clients make today and in the future when awarding infrastructure contracts for infrastructure projects? What should be taken into account for BIM-based calculations? These and other topics were covered in the A+S presentation and the possibilities of the KorFin® platform were presented. Afterward the managing director of A+S Consult, Dr. Veit Appelt, took part in the panel discussion and answered questions on the conference topics.

A key topic of the conference was the correct handling of large amounts of data. There were discussions of how to deal with data requirements and data exchange and how models can still be mastered, what top-class BIM experts have to say on this topic and what technological approaches to solutions for models in infrastructure construction look like.
